The curatorial exhibition and seminar series “consumed” explores the links between natural processes and economic structures, bringing geology, nature, and theories of capital into dialogue. Just as air, water, and time act cumulatively, transforming matter through continuous and often imperceptible processes, the mechanisms of capitalism shape social relations and human condition it self. Within this framework, a critical question emerges: to what extent do we identify capitalism as a historically constructed condition, and to what extent do we perceive it as a force of nature one that we passively consume and are consumed by?
